AP Biology
There is NO summer assignment for the 19-20 school year.
Course Description
The AP Biology course is intended to be the equivalent of a two-semester college introductory biology course, usually taken by biology majors during the first year of college. Students who wish to take this course must have already completed Biology I (or an equivalent course), passed the SOL Biology end-of-course test, and enrolled in Chemistry I (or an equivalent course). This course will cover eight major themes: science as a process; evolution; energy transfer; continuity and change; relationship of structure to function; regulation; interdependence in nature; and science, technology, and society.
